Yes, CBD can be absorbed through the skin. When using cosmetics containing CBD, the ingredient acts primarily in the upper layers of the skin. There it can interact with the body's own endocannabinoid system in the skin. Absorption into the bloodstream does not usually take place when using cosmetics.

CBD (cannabidiol) can have an anti-inflammatory and calming effect on the skin. It is often used for skin problems such as acne, neurodermatitis or psoriasis, as it can reduce redness and irritation. It can also regulate sebum production, have an antioxidant effect and help relieve itching and sensitive skin.
